WHO GOES THERE?
If the freight was cheaper then I would have invested, but it sucks to have to pay more than a third of the game just in posting.
Explorers of the North Sea – I have played. It is an exploration game where you move your ships out from the mainland and discover islands. Players place tiles to form the islands. Islands have resources but also the size of islands and where you have your Vikings will matter for end of game scoring.
Of the three games in the series, Raiders continues to be the best in our family’s opinion. Explores is second and Shipwrights is third. We also have Runesaga that makes a game of playing the three games in sequence. I would recommend Raiders and Explorers, but I would say Shipwrights and Rune Saga are not needed.
Founders looks great – got some meat to it.
Explorers of the North Sea – DID ANYONE PLAY THIS? Looking for opinions, it a good op to get both the main game and expansion.
Who Goes There? – I’m a big fan of the movie. BUT this license is for the book while there is another license for the movie to be released soon:

If game play is very different and still solid I would do both, but so far I like the production value of Outpost 31 better…
