To parallel another members comment, my wife was also hesitant at first, but that week found her playing me some days for three to four hour stretches.This being our introduction to improved concepts in gaming has made this game very dear to us.It can seem monotonous at times and some expansion cards seem broken “possession” but the fact that no two games are the same and that the game allows both of our competitive sides to develop changing strategies to match the endless combinations of kingdom cards has made this game a hit in our house.
