@Chris: Eminent Domain is interactive like all role selection games are interactive – it matters what your opponents do because you can do it too – and likewise it matters what you do because it gives your opponents a chance to follow along. Looking at the games you’ve marked as “owned” – compared to games like Thunderstone, EmDo is highly interactive between players. Compared to games like Small World, maybe not so much (In Eminent Domain you do not send your fighters to attack another player’s planets).

From what I’ve been hearing, in Zombie dice your only decision is whether to roll again or not, while in Martian Dice you have the additional “what should I keep” decision. Also, in Zombie dice you roll 3 dice each time, while in Martian Dice you roll all of the dice (I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing, but it’s a difference). The former of those differences probably is more important as far as game play is concerned.

Taking a lot of debt vs very little (or no) debt – neither one is “better” than the other, just different strategic approaches to the game. Deficit spending makes it easier to bu things, but you have to deal with the negative effects of debt. If you avoid loans, you don’t need to worry about losing points, but you may find it difficult to get things you really want because you’re short on cash. This dynamic exists in any economic game with loans.
