Farnsworthy

This is one of the games we bring to the table most. It’s starting to get difficult to get it out now, as I’ve beaten my wife a little too much (at the game!).
Very well thought out interaction between the different pieces. Be prepared to use your head, but games don’t usually last longer than 30 minutes.
The pricepoint is great too. I here hive pocket is cheaper, includes the expansion pieces, and creates the opportunity for even more gaming while on the go.
Don’t pass this one up. The theme/design threw me off it for a while, but once I gave it a shot, I never looked back.

This was my first hobby game. My wife brought home for me as a surprise, thinking that my love for zombies (at the time, the theme is starting to wear thin) would mean it would be a hit for me.
I played a couple of times with her, then with a few friends. Shelved it and moved out into the broader spectrum of board gaming that is available today.
Recently, my wife and I pulled it off the shelf on a whim.
We both gave up after about 20 minutes. The game is simplistic. The win condition is buried in the lower half of the deck (unless you want to roll a bunch of dice to collect zombie corpses). Roll and move just isn’t any fun.
Whatever you do, don’t buy this game.

Picked up the ios version because i heard great things about the game, couldn’t find the physical version.
The tutorial, while lengthy, is confusing. I know that a good game is buried in here, but i can’t seem to reach it.
Also, though it is supposed to be 4 player co-op, you are limited to two players, which is a bit of a let down.
Might be better if you have played the physical version and are looking to play on the train/plane.
