Eclipse is a great game! It has exploration, with an high degree of luck in finding the better exagons; a huge managing part of money and resources, combined with a nice system for developing ships and for combats. It’s an almost perfect mix of all these elements, playable in less than 3 hours.
The components are mid-level: the spaceships are ugly and the planks are made of a too thin cardboard.
The replay value is huge, because of the modular board and the randomness of technologies. Must buy.
