Warfighter Modern
Warfighter quickly tricks you into feeling a closeness with “your” squad. You’ll feel the need to complete the missions to safeguard your brothers-in-arms. You’ll get to know the soldiers in “your” squad–they aren’t just chits or plastic miniatures on a game board–they have names and pictures (based upon and submitted by real soldiers). Choosing soldiers and deciding upon their gear load-outs increase your investment in the game and allow RPG elements to creep into game play. The realistic graphics and pictures on the cards immerse you into the overall Warfighter theme. Gameplay truly felt like I was watching an interactive movie–the game faded into the background while the missions proceeded and combat narrative ensued.
