Military cards: You want one small mid first era and one big early/mid third era.

Green ones:Don’t target for more than 6 unless you play with novice opponents and look for synergy with your wander.

Blue:one or two 2nd era and go for the big third era ones! They can give an amazing boost to your VP out of the “blue” .

First era you want to build a solid resources foundation with around 4 cards about materials(the choose one of two are very useful) and one or two tech. And look what your sides pick.

Card block yr opponents with Wonder construction and finish it mid 2nd or max early/mid 3rd era depending on your wonder and its side.

Lastly, you WILL need and Must take a market(yellow) card for one coin trade with both sides.
