Used to play this in college in marathon streaks. We’d go through multiple characters trying to gain the advantage on one another. Now we play a bit less aggressively and it still hold up.

I like this game, but I wouldn’t advise playing it with folks who take offense easily. This is a game about out maneuvering your opponent and double crossing your allies.

Like all the Thunderstone expansions so far, I’d advise using the basic layout first and then trading out a stack or two at a time until you get a feel for how the cards work together.

There are some great additions in this box. I would say that it is very easy to overpower your dungeon with the monsters. I’d advise sticking to the base game outlined in the book and trading out a card stack or two at a time.
