This is one of the best games I’ve ever played. I think I’m not that good at it, yet I always want to play (this says much about its value to me!).

Even though it’s a bit difficult to play you first games, the symbols and the most basic strategies come intuitive in a matter of a couple of games. For this reason, I recommend to play your first games with an experienced player, as in being advised for the cards to use in each situation.

Some of his strong values are 1) Everyone plays at the same time, 2) Everybody keeps playing with no waiting phases, 3) There is no player elimination, as the winner is determined at the very end of the game. This makes it a perfect social game, ideal for those who would be bored out of it.

I love the fact it is so open to expansions. There are many possibile strategies even with the basic version itself, yet “Babel” and “Leaders” allows the game to match everyone’s personal play style, from the most solid to the most sneaky.

One last thing: once everyone knows how to play it, it really become a FAST game, as in need to think fast! I would personally use a timer of some kind to force the players to play their card in an always shorter time. This allows to play a huge amount of rounds in a single game night.
