I have found many people to say that the game is to hard to beat. The first thing I would suggest is that it is a game that deals with the apocalypse. It is intended to be hard. What makes it hard is not having strong teamwork. Teamwork is what makes this game work. Many people have not played Co-op games before. Take time to plan out moves.

Also the less spawn points the better. The size of your map does not make a difference when it comes to spawn points. Hoards add up quick when you have a large number of spawns. Most of the time we play with three. Four turns into a cluster if you don’t manage them well. Also character selection is key. Having extra turns early on help.

Go off book. Don’t limit yourself to the mission set in the book. Sort of the first two rounds of a new box. We always play off book. This allows us to create a deeper game.
