Small World
Visually wonderful, very dynamic, easy to learn, the mechanics of mixing a race and a special ability allows for lots and lots of combinations. Expansion packs are generally very nice.
The gameplay is very well-balanced and with a proper length (standard game lasts for about 40-60 minutes). It is designed in such way so you can play quite casually and still have fun, but you can also develop quite complex strategies involving a lot of planning.
Worth recommending!
