OK, nothing is perfect… but this game is close. It’s fun, easy to learn, quick to play, extremely well-balanced, and stands a lot of replay. There are multiple paths to winning and no two games are alike. Only minor quibbles with components (2nd edition replaced some bits with cardboard counters). I’ll also point out that the Leaders expansion, while introducing a significant change to the game, does so remarkably successfully.
Do yourself a favor. Go buy this game now. You will not be disappointed.
