This game is the gateway into gaming for so many people with good reason. The components are simple and obvious and there’s just enough depth to the rules to invite layers of strategy. As an added bonus many of the skills that you acquire from this game can easily cross over to a plethora of other games. This one comes highly recommended for gamers of all skill level and don’t forget to check out the expansion packs for added replay value and increased complexity.

After having experiencing the highs of battling for victory against each other we wanted a game that we could work together towards a common goal. This game came highly recommended as a wonderful cooperative game and it is very fun and easy to learn….it’s just…well it’s nearly impossible to win, the deck is literally stacked against you. There are times where you have no valid recourse against the oncoming tide of plague. At least this is how it is with two players. I’m sure that the amazing powers of the other characters, when they are all combined in a concerted effort can turn the tables. So, in conclusion, easy to learn, easy to play but oh so difficult to win. Some may find this challenge to be a bonus but after ending the world several times the replay value begins to decline.
