A wonderful game shop filled to the brim with board games (new and used), card games, tabletop RPg’s, private rooms and open tables for gaming, miniatures and painting supplies, and a selection of food and drink to keep cozy. Guardian games also features a 21 and over back gaming area.

I love GG for the amount of table space available to use. The place is huge! The store also does midnight releases and other special events. I am a proud patron of this shop. This is -the- definition of a FLGS. I had the privilege to demo Lagoon: Land of Druids by local game designer David Chott here.
I was just walking from point A to point B while visiting Portland and stumbled upon GG and immediately lost the next 3 hours!! It is amazing!
A giant of a game store with well defined sections for board games, miniatures, RPG, Magic, classic video games, and even a sizable Lego section. They have more tables than you can imagine, including rooms for rent if you want a quieter gaming group get together. There is even a bar (beer) in the back for the evenings. Snacks, sodas and candy are also onsite.
The best part is everyone was so helpful and nice. There is absolutely no “better than you” attitude towards noobs or outsiders. They want to help everyone and have the inventory to do so. A store like this is a real treasure to the local gamers!!
Whether looking through games, playing demos, setting up party games for birthdays, talking to the knowledgeable staffs ( of which there are many) or of all things wanting to buy a game, GG is a great store for all the above.
