Head down a flight of stairs on the sidewalk right off the main drag on campus to find your way here. Two large rooms inside– one is filled with comic books and graphic novels, while the other some discount books, board games and card games. Towards the back are a few tables and couches to lounge around.

Great place to go and hang out, with a staggering amount of graphic novels and discount comic books. They only carry a copy or two of any game, but the stock rotates pretty well, so if you’re looking to pick something up with nothing particular in mind, it’s a great place to find something new.
The staff has been extremely knowledgeable and friendly every time I have gone here.
For a comic shop, I think this place has a pretty good game collection – you should be able to find something there that interests you. The store, for being underground, is pleasantly bright and welcoming. They also have Friday Night Magic for those interested in that. Overall, it’s a really nice little place and I like to go there on my down time to browse, and pick up the occasional goody to treat myself!
I used to live near State College, and it was not easy to get into Friday Night Magic at Comic Swap. Tables were always full, teams were a no-go unless you already had a partner, etc. I tried to get in at least four times, and each time was not able to play. They are a small store, mainly only a few games. It is great for comics and sometimes the half off game rack but I wasn’t all that impressed as a gamer. Staff can be friendly, but they had odd rules like not allowing posting on their bulletin board for game groups, etc. There is no support for gaming other than the Magic nights, and they wont let you advertise any type of game group even if it is at a home or restaurant/library.
For gaming, I much preferred Jake’s Cards and Games which used to be in Bellefonte, but I think they have a store in State College now. There is also a cool club/shop in Altoona now called Snake Eyes Gaming that opened right after I moved. When I visited recently I stopped at Snake Eyes a few times and it was cool. Not a HUGE selection, but not bad and it has a LOT of space and perks for members.
