I have been waiting a year for this game. I demo’d it at Gencon last year and was very impressed with the detailed artwork at that time. The artwork has improved throughout the year. The main guy behind this game, Bryan Pope, has been very open and responding about his game.
The game will be a strategy game, not a collectible card game. So in your starter box, you get 1 copy of every card that is needed to play the game. Also there are no draw decks, you have your spell book you fill up prior to starting the game. you decide on each turn what you can afford to cast and when you want to cast it. The luck factor comes in on the dice roll to see the outcome of your spell, taking the luck out of drawing the right card at the right time.
