One of two locations in the Omaha area (Lair 2 is at 5022 S. 153rd St. in Millard). After a fire in the building housing the previous location (8316 Blondo St.), Dragon’s Lair is re-opening up the street.
In business since 1975, Dragon’s Lair is the place to go for comics, Magic and other CCGs, miniature games, board games, RPGs, anime, and manga. With a large game room and extremely knowledgeable staff, you’ll be able to find and try all of your new favorite hobbies!
I was taking my daughters here on a near weekly basis for comics and the occasional board game or MTG purchase. I have been visiting this store since I was a kid. This place is awesome.
This store just reopened yesterday in its new location, and it looks like a good move for them space-wise. Of course, seeing the previous location and Lair 2, I think it is likely they will “grow” into the new space before too long.
I am excited to have them back!
The two stores have a great staff that have great expertise in many areas of gaming/comics/hobbies. The atmosphere is always welcoming, with employees eager to help you find what you’re looking for, and can have items shipped (for free!) between stores when necessary.

Many of the owners/employees at other stores in the Omaha area got their starts at Dragon’s Lair. Regular events are held at both stores, including a monthly Anime Sunday. If you’re in or around Omaha, Dragon’s Lair should definitely be on your list of places to visit!
