I stopped into Dark Matter Games just once to check it out. The counter staff were friendly even though they were very busy – as in packed with teenagers. The store has more space dedicated to gaming tables than they do for retail, so they are serious when they say they are a place to play games. They appear to really only have a selection of card and miniature games for sale though, with several top board games available to play. Since I am interested in board games and my Magic days are long gone, they aren’t the store to suit my tastes, but if you are into CCGs and miniatures – especially Warhammer, they are worth stopping in. They are obviously doing things right for their customers.
