Kingdom Builder: Marshlands

Kingdom Builder: Marshlands, the third boxed expansion for Kingdom Builder, builds on this already exciting world of skill acquisition and land dominance.

What makes the Marshlands expansion unique is the opportunity to double your extra actions and gain a third. There are 24 location tiles with 8 new actions and 8 summary cards for the edges of the board. If you collect a location tile for the second time, you can’t only use the extra action two times, but you will also gain a bonus action tile, which either improves your extra action or is an unique action.

There are 4 new board quadrants with the Marshlands new land type on them. Marsh hexes are just like other land hexes. They are not water. Castles have been replaced with Palaces adding a different scoring possibility. To go along with this new land type, 5 Marsh terrain cards are added to the terrain deck. These have 2 terrain types on them, Marshes and one of the standard terrain types from the basic game, so they can be added even if you are not using this expansion.
