Hordes: High Command
Easy to learn, even after just a couple games I can multiple ways of trying to win the game and each faction seems to have enough flavor out of the box to present different reasons to want to play them.
You can pick this game up pretty cheap and it’s worth having as it is a quick setup game that will appeal to many different play styles.
I think the hate for this game is the lack of “spells” but I personally found it an enjoyable play experience and the units you can play have “spell” like effects.
