Betrayal at House on the Hill
@Thor it is a completely different game.
Mansions of Madness is really a short version of Arkham Horror. It plays a bit more like a ‘GM’d game’, with a team working against an evil dungeon master. It is a coopertive game, and you get more of a feeling of ‘journeying’.
Betrayal on the other hand, is much lighter. It basically feels like collective story-telling. Think back to the old ‘choose your own adventures’, just replace choose with die rolls. No-one is ‘in control’, you are just acting out a old B-horror-movie.
Betrayal is also much much shorter than Mansions (as even a short version of AH takes forever). Also, I would not recommend picking up Mansions without playing it once first (or playing AH and liking it).
