This weekend we’re planning to take City of Iron for a spin. To continue with the steampunk theme we’ll get in some games of Warmachine: High Command as well.

What are you playing this weekend?

A little Eminent Domain was played tonight. Dominion is a given. Hopefully we can give For Sale a try. I just picked up a travel version of it and I have heard good things.

Since it’s Gamer Bling Expansion #1’s pick this week, odds are Ticket to Ride. Aside from that, working on some original designs.

Since tomorrow is our Privateer Game Day, there will be lots of High Command, Zombies Keep Out!, and Level 7[Omega Protocol]. In addition, I’m looking forward to more games of Arctic Scavengers, Castle Dice, and Splendor.

My best friend of many years is making the trek to Boston for some much-needed hangout time this weekend!

Tonight, after stuffing ourselves at the best rodizio in Boston, we’re playing Tokaido and I’ll be introducing him to Sentinels of the Multiverse. If there’s any time after that (I expect us to go a few rounds with Baron Blade, Omnitron, and Plague Rat), maybe Survive?

Tomorrow is a gathering we call Games and Goat Cheese, planned after I charmed a free 3-lb. wheel of goat cheese out of a vendor at Wine Riot last month. Six players means quite a few games are off the table, but I’m thinking 7 Wonders, King of Tokyo, Tsuro of the Seas, and maybe Shadows Over Camelot if I want to hit them with something more difficult.

Should be the best weekend for gaming I’ve had in a while!

I’m going to the ProtoSpiel at Game Kastle (San Jose, CA), so my weekend will be filled with prototype play.

Don’t have any people coming over so going to focus on two player games. Also just picked up Infernal Contraption so hopefully play that a bunch. Also hoping to play Star Realms that we picked up last weekend.

We are having a garage sale so a lot of our spare time will be spent on that, and I am sure some of the proceeds will end up going towards drinks so probably a couple games of Mall of Horror and hopefully I can talk the woman into playing a round of A Few Acres of Snow.

Nothing planned really, but I’d like to play Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small. I just got the two expansions for it too; extra buildings, yes-yes!

Oh, and my Rebel Transport expansion for SW: X-Wing has arrived. Can’t wait to try it out.

@Templa: I’ve played Tzolk’in once. I had a less-than-great experience because the fellow introducing us to the game is used to playing competitively online. That said, it’s an interesting game and interacting with the board is very satisfying. I hope you and the family have a blast!

I think we will be trying out Tzolk’in: The Mayan Calendar finally with the family. Perhaps for the wife and I we will get in a game or two of Jaipur and/or Firefly: The Game. Mother’s Day cuts a bit into our playing schedule, but we will try!

This weekend’s game lineup includes Love Letter (it’s been a while!), The Quiet Year if I can get together some roleplayers, Seasons if the lady’s up for it, and possibly some Pandemic. Next weekend is Earthfest here in Boston, so I want to cram in some game time before I’m preoccupied with snack samples and live music!
