Too… Many… Awesome… Games…! It’s going to be hard to decide what to play this weekend. We got our kickstarter copy of Guilds of Cadwallon in, but besides that we’re thinking City of Remnants, Netrunner and Star Wars: The Card Game.
What are you having to choose between this weekend? 🙂
Good weekend so far. Caylus and Power Grid are two of my all time favorite games, and got to play both.
If only we could get Age of Renaissance added to the site, we’d have my top 3 faves.
Hoping to get in Police Precinct, Mice & Mystics, The Adventurers: The Temple of Chac, and Undermining in this weekend, among others.
Gamer Bling Expansion #2 is taken with Quarriors.
Gamer Bling is happy that it is a game that GBX2 can set up and tear down. Usually Gamer Bling gets stuck with all the dirty work. 🙂
Friday we played Sequence (simple famaly game) and Martian dice.
Saterday we played Jamaica and were going to play Yomi, Mage Wars.
Sunday we are going to play: Sequence agian, Martian dice again and Incan Gold ,Epic Spell Wars and Room 25 “3x3x3 cube version” house rule 2.
Monday tweaking spellbook for Mage Wars. And playing Tiki Topple and many more.
No new article for the new weekend?
Just got in a game of Suburbia with BGG’s Voice Gamers Guild. Neat game.
Tonight’s roster was Hive, Set, Once Upon a Time, Kemet and Cosmic Encounter! Falling in love with Kemet and other were really getting into it besides it being their first times. Played with 4 players and in the last turn 3 of us could have taken it. I saved an extra action for the very last turn to play back-to-back for the win!
Not much, only Turbo Taxi.
I didn’t get much gaming in this weekend with Mother’s Day celebration and whatnot. We did play some Ingenious and Sentinels… as well as our ongoing Edge of the Empire campaign. My 11 year old participated with us for this first time. He did pretty well… played a wookie. So, I’m doing my part creating new gamers. If we all double our efforts, we can take over the world!
Since its better late than never, I´ve played many games of Love Letter and tried the Print and Play version of Martin Wallace´s Study in Emerald! It was a great weekend!
My Group went to Geekway to the West board game convention in St. Louis, and had a blast. Got to play Terra Mystica (Agricola meets Powergrid… kinda), 7 Wonders (for the first time ever), Last Night on Earth (favorite of the weekend), Ninjato (excellent worker placement game), and Toc Toc Woodsman in between the gaps. Picked up a copy of Formula D, been looking for that one awhile.
Not much gaming this weekend, though we did acquire a copy of Fast Flowing Forest Fellers at my daughter’s school fete and have played that a couple of times, which was a lot of fun. Plus we got another game of Love Letter in, which is always welcome.
We were able to play Castle Ravenloft like I had hoped, but we were able to play the Game of Thrones LCG, Pandemic, and Munchkin. I had a much stronger opinion and view of Minchkin this time around.
Played round of Carcassonne with tiles from 6 expansions, but without all the rules for em…
And then had a go at the good old Monopoly. I wanted to play Bora Bora, but I was 1 against 2 🙂
Bought my wife Agricola: All Creatures Great and Small and Love Letter for Mother’s Day. Can’t wait to give them both a whirl!
Finally got to play Sentinels this weekend. We only had 3 players, but it was still very enjoyable once we realized that all the HP pieces and damage markers were unnecessary. Maybe if we have 5 players, we’ll need to keep track of damage types more, I’m not sure.
All in all, a great night, even though 2 people cancelled at the last minute.
I have gotten in a couple of Lords of Waterdeep but mainly I have played cards this weekend. I’ve played Last Panther, Sticheln, Blind Hen, 11 Nimmt, and Auf Falsche Fahrte. If you have’n’t played German card games you need to check them out. They are very player interactive and cutthroat.
Played Love Letter, 2 sessions of a Prototype, The Adventurers, Salmon Run, Chinatown, Infiltration, and Sentinels of the Multiverse.
So far Blood Bowl: Team Manager and Mice & Mystics. I just bought 7 Wonders, so I will try to get that in as well before the weekend is over.
So far I’ve played a whole mes of Android: Netrunner. I introduced a friend to it on Friday and my gal and I just wrapped up a game with some new decks we slapped together. Unfortunately, I’ve passed up the opportunity to play Malifaux and a few other games but I’m hoping to remedy that with some Star Wars LCG action on Sunday!
