So many games, so little time! We’ll be having a game night this weekend, but we’ll leave the game choice up to a vote.
What game(s) are you playing over the weekend?

Conspiracy X…maybe.
I definitely have a session of the Star Wars game I’m playing in, but I’m hoping there will be more this weekend than just that. I just don’t know what yet. It will depend on who all is available to play.
I’m hosting my first Gaming BBQ Saturday night. Beer, Burgers, and Boardgames! I just hope one of the guys brings his wife so we can play some light/party games first, then split up. I’m dying to re-introduce Eaten by Zombies. Another person really wants to try Mage Knight, but while I love it solo, I’m not sure I could tolerate the downtime/playtime of 4 players. Plus I’d be the only one familiar with the game. We used to gather at Barnes and Noble, but so much easier to host at home. I have plenty of tables/table space now which helps.
I’m figuring on starting with D&D Inn-Fighting, maybe King of Tokyo or Quarriors, and possibly Wiz-War or Prophecy (Vladaa Chavtil’s Talisman-esque game). Everyone else is bringing a few games too, so who knows what will actually get played! I know my wife would be happy with Jungle Speed and Apples to Apples. My daughter wants to play Last Night on Earth and Kittens in a Blender…lol..so many choices! Will probably be 2 games going on at once.
We’ve already had our first ever couple of games of Dragonheart, followed by a little Coloretto. For the rest of the weekend, I’m angling for a bit of Dominion, and hopefully some Elder Sign, which we haven’t yet beaten.
Plan on getting in a couple of games of Race for the Galaxy, might break out Labyrinth: The War on Terror for a solo play-through, then will either attempt to learn 51st State or In the Shadow of the Emperor. If there’s time, maybe a game of Chronicle.
Week-end started early, as I’m on vacation this week. We’ve already played three games of Flash Point: Fire Rescue, along with two games of Sequence with 12 people. I’m hoping to try the Resistance’ and perhaps Survive: Escape from Atlantis. We’ll see.
Already played some Ingenious and 7 wonders. Tomorrow is mystery night where we crack open a case from Sherlock Homes: Consulting Detective soon to be reprinted in English.
Got several games of 7 Wonders in last night with all the published expansions, including Cupertino. Can’t wait for GenCon to pick up the Cities expansion.
Did some final play-testing of GravWell at Epic Loot, my FLGS in Dayton Ohio. Just polishing the ball before the rules go to print. Assuming nothing changes, I’ll be demonstrating GravWell at my publisher’s area during GenCon.
The World Cup Game – WC 1982
