What are you playing this weekend? (Feb 6)

Some kickstarter games came in the mail this week, like Dead Man’s Draw by Mayday Games and Harbour by TMG. I’ve also found that you can get Marvel Dice Masters boosters at Target, so that’s extremely dangerous for me! I’ve also been staring at Lords of Xidit on the shelf and really want to play that one… it is going to be a wait and see kinda weekend.

What are you playing this weekend?

Having enough people over for a few rounds of Bang! and Hanabi. Getting back my copy of Power Grid so we can try out the China or Korean board. Got a copy of Citadels from a friend that I would like to try.

Also trying to convince a few people to come over early to bust out the battle tower and Shogun. A great strategic war game that I have no idea why it isn’t on this site.

Sentinels of the Multiverse came in the mail on Tuesday. Work has been so busy that I haven’t been able to play it yet, so I’m looking forward to cracking into that! Hopefully also get a few other games in like Smash-Up, City of Horror, or Star Realms.

Got a pretty game-packed weekend ahead of me!

Started off with some lunch-time Dixit with coworkers.

Going to visit my parents tonight and that means a couple of games of Ticket to Ride: Europe.

Finally tomorrow hanging out with a friend that will include both WH40K action in Space Hulk: Death Angel and Eldritch Horror – lots of dice-driven pain 🙂

Hope everyone has fun!

@Account Curious to see your thoughts on Student Bodies. It was on my Holiday Must Have Game Present list without knowing anything about it. Mostly on a love of Cutthroat Caverns and Smirk and Dagger‘s philosophy that they pride themselves in publishing vicious, backstabbing, screw you games.

Friday: Team Rebel is going to attempt their third Imperial Assault mission and really, really, really hopes they don’t get trounced. 🙁 I’m extra excited because we have decided to meet up at PF Chang’s beforehand for dinner (YAY!) and possibly soften up Herr Imperial Dungeon Master with a belly full of food and Mos Eisley Cantina type beverages. 🙂

Sunday: We are hosting a B.Y.O.A Cosmic Encounter get together. (And yes BGdot Echelon the ‘A’ stands for Alien…or does it? *hee hee*). One Play Your Fave Game,One Random, and a few analysis games of various Top Lists I’ve come across is on the schedule. Depending on Dame Weather – next weekend might be a road trip I need to hone my game for. *glee*

Saturday: I think I want to play Heroes Wanted after talking about it with @Taxtu

No new Kickstarters to try to work in this weekend, so I can focus on my assignments: Student Bodies and D&Ds Dice Master and Attack Wing.

I’ve played Student Bodies once already… might this become my favorite zombie game?

And I couldn’t be more excited for D&D Attack Wing. These dragons are huge!

I am hoping to get a couple of plays of Ticket to Ride: Europe. I am also looking forward to trying one of the Pandemic expansions.

Looking forward to finally trying out Munchkin (which has been sitting around for a month), and playing Ticket to Ride and Tokaido with more than 2 players for the first time. Also gonna try out Bananagrams that just came in the mail. Might throw in some Ghost Stories (if I can convince them to play) and some Zombie Dice. And probably some Takenoko– I think the kids coming over will like it.

I don’t usually get to play this much at once, so I’m SUPER excited!!!!!!!!!
