With so many great games being released last weekend, is anyone breaking out anything new? We’ve taken X-Wing for a spin and are loving it so far! Below are some photos of us playing. Quick tip: playing the Star Wars soundtrack during the game makes it even better!
What games will be hitting your game table this weekend?
X-Wing will definitely be played this weekend around here, as well as some Battles of Westeros. I haven’t gotten enough playtime in with X-Wing since GenCon, and have 3 new expansions for BoW that I need to try out that I also got at GenCon. Perhaps I might be able to squeeze a game of Star Trek Catan, Nightfall, or Alien Frontiers in as well. Ahhh! Too little time!
I purchase Netrunner at GenCon and haven’t had to change to play it yet. Sentinels of the Multiverse will be played as well as the Fly Frog expansion to Last Night on Earth. I am going to play the zombies – bad news for the humans.
My buddy got Zombicide and is looking to get that to the table tonight. We’re also gonna see about playing Dungeon Command and Tooth & Nail.
Tonight I am going to break out Lords of Waterdeep and Im guess going to guess the fiance is going to chose Quarriors. We may slip in something else as well.
Playtesting D&D 5E and maybe some L5R Rpg too.
Playing Hike tonight, along with either Telestrations or possibly Alhambra.
Hoping to get in a little Mage Wars tonight and tomorrow along with hopefully a game or two of Rune Age with the Oath and Anvil expansion! But we’ll see, may just end up being a Ticket to Ride type weekend after all the excitement last weekend.
With Chris Vander Linden, I’ll be hopefully playing some X-Wing. But tonight a good friend of mine and Chris’s is moving away. I’m losing a good friend and game buddy, so X-Wing and Battle of Westeros will be key components in our gaming from now one. This weekend will be a lot of gaming but we’ll also both have next Wednesday off and will probably get in some more X-Wing and it’s awesomeness.
I’m hoping to get in a few games of Zombicide, Infiltration, and Smallworld.
Looking forward to game night with X-Wing and the second half of the Descent 2.0 campaign. I was able to get a few rounds of Carcassonne in today and I love that game!
