We just got a copy of Eight-Minute Empire in the mail this week and so far we’ve enjoyed every minute! We’ll be playing that and other “lighter” games this weekend.
I’ve got two games I’d like to get in a playthrough of this weekend. The first one I had in mind is Warmachine. I bought the starter a while ago and still have only ever watched friends playing the game – time to dip in for myself.
The other was a surprise. I got my copy of the Bioshock board game today when I wasn’t really expecting it till Saturday or (as seemed more likely) Monday. New Plaid Hat? Isaac Vega design? Pretty components and cool mechanics? Definitely needs to see some table time.
Suffering through more crashes of the A Brief History of the World app. It’s been a lot of fun to play through, but it crashes for me ~4 times per game, which is really annoying.
Just bought Belfort and Talisman, hopefully play those a bunch especially because after three losses and no wins on Talisman I really would like to win at least once.
due to heavy rain tomorrow, I’ll try get through a chapter of Mice and Mystics with my son. Other than that I’ll try to find time for teaching a buddy Mage Knight.
Breaking out some of the more rules-heavy games I own this weekend for a nice learning session. Civilization, Game of Thrones, Zpocalypse, Arkham Horror, etc. Hoping to also check out the Print-and-Play version of The Agents, and get a full game of Belfort in as well.
I will be playing some more Guildhall, Qin, Ascension, Mage Wars, and maybe a game of Arkham Horror (if I can get the group together and in agreement).

My group will be playing Letters From Whitechapel and Shadows Over Camelot and likely some more.
Robinson Crusoe and more Bruges! Maybe some Quicksilver if I’m lucky.
I am playing against the Borg this weekend with Star Trek TNG DBG until I beat them Borg up!

Big game night tomorrow – expecting 30+! Hoping to try out Keyflower, Viticulture, Escape, and CO2.

@Lozmoid Thanks for catching that! It’s fixed now 🙂
Don’t you mean ‘What are you playing this weekend? (Aug 2)’
Think the date’s wrong!
I’m holding a strategy board game night on Saturday. So Settlers, Dominion, Risk and the likes will be played.
