Many party games revolve around hidden identities and bluffing. Based on their popularity, it looks like some of you may already be enjoying these games, but maybe some of you haven’t tried them yet. Or maybe you are looking for another game to add to your rotation.

Every several weeks we’ll be featuring games for exploration that share a common trait. There is no set number of games that will be featured, but we’ll try to incorporate a mix of old favorites and new titles where possible.

Now, we invite you to explore games that involve hidden identities! Then please tell us some of your favorite games that involve bluffing or hidden identities in the comments below.

I have a certain curiosity to play Tortuga 1667 … unfortunately there is no one near me who has the game.

I’ve played Deception: Murder In Hong Kong, Escape From The Aliens In Outer Space, Tortuga 1667, Dreams, and been trying to table Spyfall 2 without success.

Maybe I haven’t played enough of them, but so far I’ve found they’re not my jam.

Werewolf and Sheriff of Nottingham I would classify as party games, but certainly not Battlestar Galactica. As a matter of fact, I would not recommend BSG to casual gamers. BSG, in my opinion, is THE ultimate hidden identity game. Duplicated many times over but never emulated. One of my favorites. Check out these other games with the hidden identity mechanic:

Shadows Over Camelot
Dark Moon
The Resistance
New Angeles
Dead of Winter
Bang!
Deception: Murder in Hong Kong

3 lovely games, I’ve already seen a table of Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game and I found the game very beautiful, I only found it a pity that I could not play it because the table was already closed.

I agree with BSG, but given players who really gets into the game.

ONUW can have som duds every now and then but as it takes only a few minutes to play it is great fun.

BSG is fantastic!

This is a great category, thank you!

For hidden identity games, I also really like the Love Letter series, Coup, and Spyfall
