Thousand Year Rivalry
Rounding out BoardGaming.com’s The Coming Storm previews is this Kata Strategy. Depicting a duel between a Kakita and a Mitumoto Samurai, Thousand Year Rivalry gives the already powerful duels of dueling decks an extra little kick.
Gaining +1 Force every time your Personalities win a duel, or gaining your Family an extra point of honor as your cowardly opponents refuse your noble challenges, this Strategy has no downside for your forces once it is in play. These strengths combined with the Kharmic keyword, that keeps extra copies from being dead cards, means we will likely see this rivalry played out in Ivory Edition for a while yet to come.
