“Help with multiple event cards - sometimes too much.”

Sometimes when you draw from a sector deck, you can get punished by drawing multiple event cards in a row that have immediate effects.

One rule would be to only resolve the last event card put on top before the next non-event card is drawn.

I know this happens rarely, but one time our hand and resources got nearly depleted by three event cards that had immediate result effects. It was really brutal, because it happened in the next to the last sector.

“Adding a 6th player”

Since this expansion adds an extra deck but no sixth player, here a couple of options you can try to add a sixth player using the sixth deck. The main problem to get past is that sector four only has 10 planets, which might bite you when it comes up. You could potentially not have enough planets per player for the two galactic phases in that sector.

Option 1: Take two of your old homeworld cards from the base game. Add them to sector four deck. Given them each a three for fleet and ground strength to invade and ignore special power on the card(you already have it on the new homeworld card). Just use it’s three energy as part of your energy total during energy phase.

Option 2: Depending on how sector three goes, let any one or two worlds stick around an extra galactic phase more than normal, to help even out sector four planet distribution.
