I never had an occasion to play it before so I do not know nothing about original Wiz War. I unpacked the box and was surprised how many cards we have in the box, how colorful is everything and fun we had during my first play.

Couple of things I have noticed:
– thicker game board and tokens (in plus)
– number of magic cards in the box (big plus)
– quick and fun play (its not TI3 gameplay 😉

It was really fun, although I lost to you Hubert 🙂

I think that Reaper is a good expansion.
Adds some chill to the game, but too expensive in my opinion for 1 figure and some additional cards.

shame on FFG that such a great game was “killed”.
one of my favourite strategy games. light, easy to learn.
even my wife enjoys it(and she says boardgaming is waste of time hyhy)

lot of figures, easy rules, colorful, lot of expansions, pure fun

I was lucky enough to purchase used copy of Descent + all expansions for around 250USD. Amazing price (well, I have seen Road to Legend on ebay for 230USD…). It was in perfect conditions so after couple of months I decided to buy it.

This game is just amazing. So many tiles, so many tokens, so many plastic figures! Hope 2nd edition will be even close to this one.

We will see soon enough, but until then….Descent is my own number 1 right now

I was lucky to learn about this game some time ago. It was amazing when we played. 8 of us around the table.

I guess everything was said about Dixit so let me say only this:
great game for party, 5+ is a must, strong imagination is a must 😉
