If you are just starting your collection buy this game. If your collection is huge and missing this game, shame on you! Smack yourself or get someone to smack you instead, then go out and get this gem.

Tile laying in its pure raw carnal form! Contains one of the most iconic game components ever made! Who doesn’t want their meeple army to crush their opponents.

3 laps right? Yeah if you can survive! Those with a speed fetish who think they can just roll and move around this track to a win should walk away. This game has a strategy locked deep within the winding curves of the race tracks.

Repeat plays will help you understand this is a great game. How long will it take for your opponent to start swearing after you just blocked the remaining lane going into a tight curve and he is in 4th gear?

This game is good. It teaches you many of the under the table euro rules. What I mean is learning how to manipulate the people around the table to choose something that is beneficial to you. The game is simple, so a n00b can wrap his mind around the selection process then see and predict the ramifications for his actions early.

Seriously when you play this with enough players to fill all the roles you sit down and set the game up for all the epidemics it can handle. Then relax and get ready to perish to some plague you were one city away from curing. After you try to be a member of the CDC enough times and keep failing you might win once and that is the rush this game provides. Your win loose ratio will be totally lop sided but you will go around telling all every one you know that you and five of your smartest closest friends saved the world one night from 4 of the deadliest diseases known to man.

I have all the maps and all the expansions I can get my hands on. This is the go to game when I have 5 people who like to brag about how good they are. It isn’t a hard game and it isn’t simple either. The mechanics work so well together it makes this game a repeat play.

But I don’t want this crappy cardboard version. I have no idea why they didn’t just re issue the classic Avalon Hill version with the perfect board and nice plastic pieces.

If I could have the version I want then this is one of those games I would love to have. Strategy is your method and patience is your key to winning. With a touch luck to balance it out.

Great game. So much strategy is hidden in this gem making its replay factor for me almost off the chart. No one is ever down in out in this game. Comebacks are always possible it feels great to trounce someone with archery or monotheism while they rock the late ages.

This is a great idea for a game. It is nice to see all your plans come together in front of you. The play is simple to follow and once you get the hang of the symbols it can be easy to decipher something new.

Although the bad is that there is almost no player interaction other then the choosing of action cards and hoping you choose properly for the best results.
