Dixit is a simple yet wonderful game that can be played with both friends and family. I describe it a “sophisticated version of Apples-to-Apples” where players attempt to both guess the correct story, and steal votes by playing other cards that are a better match. Easy to learn and great fun.

We enjoyed Dominion the first play or two, but didn’t really get into it until this expansion hit the table. The cards are far more interactive and makes the base set even better when combined. If you enjoy Dominion, this is a must have.

Dominion is simple to learn, yet because of the variety of cards available to create your deck adds a certain level of sophistication to each game played. This is only further enhanced by the number of expansions currently available. My recommendation is to pick up the Intrigue expansion quickly, as this adds more interaction between players that the base set lacks.

Great game that’s best with 4 or 5 people. What’s best about this game is while the set-up is always the same, there is no best one strategy that can win. All of our games have been close and are always entertaining.

This is the game that got me past Settlers of Catan, Carcassone and Dominion into the more “serious” genre of Euro-games. You’ll have to be constantly evaluating your strategy to ensure you can keep up with your opponents and your farm thriving. Definitely check this one out.

While we love RFtG, this expansion is the weakest of them all. Our group feels the additional mechanics don’t improve the game, only make it more difficult to keep track of. You can skip this one.

This is a fantastic card game by the creator of San Juan, only better (by his words). The learning curve is steep, but once all the icons are memorized it’s a great game for quick matches and doesn’t take nearly as long as Dominion to set up. This is a favorite with our weekly gaming group (and my wife)!

A fantastic expansion to the very popular Dominion card game. This is probably my favorite expansion besides Intrigue and includes cards that make for very money heavy sessions. My only complaint is the 5VP tokens included are too similar to the 1VP tokens. Still this is highly recommended.
