I love this game for the great bits! It’s a fun euro game where you often help your opponents while you’re helping yourself.

kingsburg uses dice in a fun way. Your specific dice or combinations allow you to buy influence with various patrons. It has resource management and has no direct conflict, but you can take a patron before your opponents. It plays well and is easily accessible.

Navegador

Navegador, like many of Mac Gerdts’ games uses a rondel mechanic for action selection. It limits you to 1 action a turn (unless you have Henrique the Navegador). However, setting up meaningful actions several turns in a row can be very difficult. This game opens up the more it is experienced. Learning the subtle nuances between when to invest in workers and send them away for prestige tokens. It also has the decision of explore versus build an economy. To me, Navegador embodies what a Euro should be, it has depth of play, there are multiple paths to victory. It also has those aching decisions of passing up an action you really want to take an action that will help you in the future.

London is an amazing game. Yes, its the easiest Wallace game as far as picking up and playing, but it is also difficult to play well your first couple of times. Learning the strategy is half the battle, maximizing card combinations is the other half. One of my all time favorite games.

Pick this game up and play with 2 to 8 players. It has a great amount of screwage and its just a great game. Guessing what roles your opponents are likely to pick is fun.

This is the best fluxx yet. Playing cards out of turn makes Fluxx awesome! But its still fluxx so there is that potential for giving away the game at any point or pulling out the first turn win.

Adding more than 2 players to this game ups the randomness and makes the game no fun for me. It is an interesting game with two players.

Hive is a cool 2 player game, it features tokens that have different movement and plays like chess without the board. Highly recommended.

in Agri-cola you are delt a handful of cards that hopefully work together, I prefer this one without the cards as they take away from my enjoyment of the game.

Troyes is a fantastic game. If you only buy 1 game from z-man, this is the game to get. It is a brilliant mix of dice rolling and euro gaming. Having 1’s isn’t bad, having 6’s isn’t good. All of your dice are functional and make the game a lot of fun to play!

There are two types of bonanza players, the nice, family type who give helpful cards to others and the mean type who give others cards that destroy their bean field progress. You can never mix these people in a single game, the meanies always win. This is the meanest little box of fun I own!

RTTA is a terrific game from Gryphon Games. It’s by the designer of Pandemic and Forbidden Island. It’s not co-op though. It definitely makes civ-building with dice a fun prospect!

7 Wonders feels a bit shallow to me. Leaders adds a little bit of depth. The game is still just okay to me.
