This set introduces questing to Quarriors

giving you a new way to score points, but you can still score points in the regular way.

make sure you try both ways

I thoroughly recommend that you try mixing all three sets together for a new and different experience

you will need the building, the reminisces, and the illnesses and bad habits, as well as the private maids.

to mix up games a little get a marker for first player
give it to the first player after the villain, play the first round as normal then hand the first player marker to the next player.
when its the heroes turn to act again, the player with the marker goes first, then all the heroes in sequence, looping back around to the player after the villain, (who had the villain in the first round)

each round pass the marker one place on.

Be careful when playing this hero, she is effectively 3 different heroes, and all three play very differently

I have this scheme in two modes hard mode where trash wounds go to the trash pile and easy mode where the trashed wounds go back to the wound pile

Have a try of both see which one you like

it can be hard the first time you play but each race has a play style the goal of your game should be to try and work out what it is … can make a huge difference in how well you play and more importantly how much fun you have

an example build the stronghold for witches turn one and use that ability 🙂

One of the most often over looked actions is the clean up

you remove all waste from your hand … if the hand isn’t ‘worth’ playing this might be a good alternative and doesn’t require you to have a special card

There is more to magic then just the cards, there are different ways the game can be played

My favourite is called Commander or EDH you have a powerful commander that your deck is based around

other formats include Cube, Draft, Modern, Standard, Porper have a look you might something more to your tastes

Grab one of these bad boys and you have enough space for everything sentinels up to and including shattered time lines
(cost $20)

Deal out the 12 then pick the first two cards, then work out what would be needed to make it a set, then the 1st and 3rd cards

it will get you used to looking for sets

remember the phrase two are x and one is not (this makes it not a set)

You can play most cards for effectively one energy

Also Don’t underestimate the dice of Malice each time you use its power (reroll the dice and get something different) you gain 2 crystals this can seriously add up over the course of a game

I have had plenty of parties in my time running DND that think it doesn’t matter if they have a controller or not

It does … make sure you cover all the bases if you can

(p.s. Controller is a party member how can attack multiple targets at once, and apply effects such as slow or weaken)

The ‘On the Brink’ expansion, I consider essential to this game, the new roles card is a great boost to my enjoyment of the game

This is super important for this game … if you miss some of the fire spread rules this game can seem a little to easy

One of the types of clue is the ‘NOT’ clue
e.g. this card is ‘NOT’ blue

avoid this type of clues for the first couple of games

There is a fan made deck for this game check it out if you can find it

it includes new lay outs and new roles

If you can get the blue plastic catan board it makes set up much eaiser

also be careful of moisture in the box, it can warp the tiles

If you have 10-sided dice these make tracking life very easy

Promo cards have a big effect on the replay-ability of Sentinels.
Keep an eye out for them.

There are two promo villains which you can pick up as part of the over-sized villain cards, Cosmic Omnitron and Mad Bomber Baron Blade

Most of the Starting maids require 2 serves to chamber … Getting a Kagari or Natsumi to get rid of these cards can be a huge boost
